Favourite Albums of 2019 So Far

In 2019 so far I have reviewed nearly forty albums and E.P.s (and listened to many more) so I thought I would try to assess the year overall and decide on my what albums have been my favourites.

I have taken the very unscientific approach to just look at what albums I’ve listened to the most (so some more recently released albums do not feature). I will wait until the end of the year to rank albums in order of preference but safe to say something is going to have to be very special to challenge the Jenny Lewis album for top spot. I am still working on my favourite songs list and will publish that tomorrow.

So here’s my ten favourite albums of the year, in no particular order. Please click on the title to read my original review:

Jenny Lewis – On The Line

Our Native Daughters – Songs of Our Native Daughters

Sharon Van Etten – Remind Me Tomorrow

Shovels & Rope – By Blood

Yola – Walk Through Fire

Kaia Kater – Grenades

Caroline Spence – Mint Condition

Lucy Rose – No Words Left

Juliana Hatfield – Weird

Adia Victoria – Silences

And below is my playlist with a song from every album/EP I have reviewed:
